Xiaomi is rolling out the stable MIUI 11 Global update to Mi 8 and Mi 8 Pro. Only a small set of devices has started receiving the update before proceeding with the wider rollout. If all goes well, the stable MIUI 11 update will be pushed globally.

The OTA update for Mi 8 is MIUI 11.0.6.0.PEAMIXM and 1.9GB in size. On the other hand, the Mi 8 Pro MIUI 11 update is arriving as version 11.0.5.0.PECMIXM and it also has the same size as 1.9GB. Both updates are still based on Android Pie with the latest October security patch.
