Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G Will Come With a 40W Wired Charge, 30W Wireless Charge, And 10W Reverse-Charging Solution

Xiaomi had confirmed that the company will hold a special launch event in Beijing on September 24th to unveil two new 5G smartphones Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G and Mi Mix 4. Yesterday, the Chinese firm teases the official poster of Mi 9 Pro 5G on its official Twitter handle. The Xiaomi Mi 9 released in the first half of the year with the support of a 27W wired fast charging technology. This time, the Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G will come up with a 40W wired fast charging solution.

A few days back, Xiaomi unveiled its Super Wireless Flash Charging MI CHARGE TURBO during a media event in Beijing, China. It is the world’s first 30W super wireless Flash charger and will probably debut with MI 9 Pro 5G. A new poster positively confirms that the upcoming Mi 9 Pro 5G will have three charging options. Xiaomi Mi 9 Pro 5G will come with a 40W wired charge + 30W wireless charge + 10W reverse-charging solution.

The 30W super wireless flash charge can charge the 50% of a 4000mAh battery in 25 minutes, and 100% in just 69-minutes.

While the upcoming flagship will support a 40W wired charge along with 30W wireless, there is a 10W reverse charging solution as well. The Xiaomi 9 Pro 5G will be the first flagship smartphone to come with a 10W reverse wireless charging this year, which can be used as a power source to power other devices.

Xiaomi 9 Pro 5G expected Specifications:

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 855+ SoC incorporates with the Snapdragon X50 5G baseband for the 5G network. It has a 6.39-inch Super AMOLED Display with a water-drop notch.
  • The mobile device has a quad-camera setup configured as 48MP main camera + 12MP + 16MP + ToF lens. There is also a 20MP selfie shooter at the front.
  • 4000 mAh battery with triple charging options as 40W wired charge + 30W wireless charge + 10W reverse-charge.

Xiaomi will introduce MIX 5G smartphone along with Mi 9 Pro 5G, Xiaomi TV and the new MIUI 11 system on September 24th.
